NANSLO RWSL Distributed Network Scaling

(RDN Scaling)

Ways the NANSLO RDN can be Scaled and Grown

This page explores the question "How can the NANSLO RDN be scaled and grown?  First it reviews some of the limitations of RWSL and then it covers ways to increase existing RWSL Node efficiency and capacity, adding new RWSL Nodes, expanding the scope of disciplines that can use RWSL remote lab services, and forming collaborative agreements to share remote lab services with other existing remote lab service providers.

NANSLO Consortium Membership Levels

It is envisioned that as an institution learns of and gradually progresses to joining and contributing to the NANSLO RDN that they will pass through a number of 'Tiers' to becoming a full fledged member of the NANSLO RDN.  This page outlines those Tiers and proposes a process.

Policies and Procedures

This page proposes the policies and procedures that the NANALO RDN might implement to scale and sustain the network.
